Description: Our client, a global leader in the HVAC&R sector, who have recently moved into the data centre market and are keen to recruit a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving the sales of their expansive product portfolio of cooling applications. This role will require active collaboration with the sales, technical, and production teams, as well as the ability to engage with multiple routes to market, including end users, partners, and consultants. The successful candidate will ensure the technical and commercial aspects are effectively communicated and executed from initial inquiry to final delivery. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy for Close Control Units, targeting enterprise server rooms and data centres, Identify, prioritise, and drive new business opportunities in the market through direct sales, partnerships, and consultant relationships, engage with multiple sales channels, including direct end-users, channel partners, and consultants, to maximise reach and revenue, nurture and grow existing relationships while establishing new channels for sustainable business growth, build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise organisations, data centres, and critical infrastructure sectors, provide consultative sales support to clients, ensuring that their needs are accurately understood and addressed with appropriate solutions, work closely with the central technical team to ensure the technical requirements of the client are met and effectively communicated, leverage the technical team’s expertise to offer tailored solutions and close sales opportunities, act as the voice of the customer to provide valuable feedback on product performance and market needs, helping shape future product development, lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close complex sales deals, ensuring that both the customer’s needs and company objectives are met.

Description: Working within the heat pump industry, you will be responsible for establishing, converting and maintaining partnerships in key channels of our clients long-term growth strategy Developing the company as the brand of choice for social housing providers, combined authorities, local area authorities and energy companies in the UK, gaining product specifications within the defined customer segments, cultivating long term relationships and a broad network of contacts. The successful candidate will work alongside Regional Sales Managers to actively manage projects through the specification and tender process to fulfilment. Lighting Control Systems Manager
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Description: Providing customised, energy-efficient and sustainable lighting solutions, the role is responsible for developing and managing all lighting controls and emergency lighting system opportunities from initial inquiry to hand over, ensuring that the projects meet the required customer specification. In addition, the role will be responsible for the management of associated supply partners, including the definition of local portfolios and supporting the full implementation including launch, training and portfolio maintenance. You will work closely with sales colleagues to identify opportunities for lighting controls systems with joint responsibility for the LMS budget, qualify and manage lighting control and emergency system project opportunities, manage the controls and systems offer to the customer and engage with all stakeholders to ensure we have the right solution for the customer, develop and present company products and solutions to customers, manage the preparation of proposals and estimates as required, manage and coordinate the engineering aspect of a project, including design, installation and commissioning plan to ensure that the project produce the required customer outcome, Liaise with project order management to ensure orders are processed and managed efficiently to ensure availability of product in line with customer requirements, ensure all information is in place and fully communicated to facilitate ‘right first time’ services and delivery, ensure all chargeable elements are quoted for and invoiced, take ownership of related controls and systems enquiries from customers and sales engineers and overcome project related technical queries, determine the appropriate solutions against stakeholder requirements including identifying and managing any associated risks, produce supporting take offs, schedules, schematics, installation instructions, energy efficiency evaluation, datasheets to support tender and BID submissions, define and support the implementation of standard local OEM product solutions, support the Commercial team in developing processes to improve time, cost and risk management. Minimum 5 years previous experience in the lighting and electrical industry including 3 years with lighting management systems is required along with excellent understanding of lighting solutions, electrical installations and electrical components, understanding of technical lighting design, and product application capabilities including: lighting instruments, computer software, lighting theory, electronics etc, knowledge of SAP /Salesforce systems desirable, excellent verbal and written communication skills , ability to analyse and solve problems, ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels throughout the company, ability to perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks, ability to prioritise work under pressure and intensive deadlines, strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) & Adobe Acrobat skills
